Leadership Certification
In 2007, FJCCSGA began a Leadership Certification program for its students. The program consists of workshops presented by the FJCCSGA Advisors that teach the most critical leadership traits to the students. Students participate in a series of workshops at the State Conference and complete an exam at the conclusion. Students who successfully complete the program receive; a certificate, a pride point item (usually a book about Student Leadership), and their name recorded with the FCCAA home office as a FJCCSGA Certified Leader (students can reference FCCAA as indication of their certification).
Attendance at each of the four workshops and a passing score on the assessment are required to receive the certification.
Fee: $35 per student (Colleges may choose to pay this fee or pass the cost on to the student)
To Register:
- The College should note the number of Leadership Attendees on their Conference Registration.
Each College Campus may register either:
5 students if your campus is bringing 5 or less students to conference OR
50% of your students if your campus is bringing more than 5 students to conference.
