Hello, my name is Danyelle Carter and I am the FJCCSGA District One Coordinator and Public Relations Director (PRD) at Miami Dade College, North Campus for 2010-2011. I am majoring in Mass Communications and Sign Language Interpretation. I am an active participant of Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Beta Lambda, The Falcon Times Newspaper, Pan-African Students Association, and Pre-Law Club. I plan to attend Florida State University, or the University of Florida to become a Political Communications Director. Future interest of mine include conveying legislative issues and concerns to the public by providing sufficient amount of resources by creating awareness, forums, and workshops to better comprehend government policies and procedures. My experiences include Vice-President of SGA, Phi Beta Lamda Vice President of Community Service, MDCTV News intern, Student Life volunteer, Grade Appeal Committee, Core Advocacy Training, and two Gold President Volunteer Service Awards (PVSA) from President Barrack Obama.
As the District One Coordinator, and PRD I will strive to enhance leadership across Florida.
